“Everything at its appointed time.” Holmes curtly added. “Your account was most informative.” With that Holmes stood and headed for the door.

“Thank your for your time,” I added, and headed after Holmes.

By the time the elevator reached the street level, and I exited, Holmes had already crossed the road and was standing in my former vantage point watching as I exited. As I reached him he put his hand up and clasped me on the shoulder and uttered “Thank you, Watson.”

A thanks from Holmes was a rare thing indeed, and I must admit it took me aback to be on the receiving end of such an honor. “What for?” I stammered in response.

“With your exit from the premises we just visited I have been able to finally complete the puzzle on how this little scheme was perpetrated. Next I need to confirm my suspicions about who. I think its time for tea, don’t you?”
